Everything was just superb! We got very clean, spacious and comfortable room with the breath-taking view, just like on the pictures. The host were exceptional, helpful and super nice! We have been welcome like VIP guests. Oli, his employee and his whole familly were very kind and at our service. Oli even gave us as scale to weight our luggages to avoid additional fees at the airport. The restaurant is very good and we ate bio chicken they raise themselves in the yard, cooked by the Mother of Oli. In the morning we had King and Queens breakfast and his father offered me coffee, house raki and even a cigar ! The place is close enough to airport and the center of Tirana, also close to the Castle of Kruje. The Hotel is quiete new, still not a lot of tourist comments but it is definitely a place to stay.

This place is newly opened and you can really see the attention to detail everywhere—from the decor to the cleanliness. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. This hotel gives you a lot of value for your money. It is located at 15 minute walking distance from the beach, boulevard and tourists spot. Tons of coffee places, Bakeries and grocerie shops nearby. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. A large bed and small fridge. WiFi worked super fast ⏩. The shower was very good and everyday the nice cleaning ladies cleaned the room. In the morning breakfast was being prepared, no buffet but freshly and it was one of the better breakfasts I've had in a while. Freshly baked eggs, sausages and cheese. You have the breakfast in the bar under the hotel, wich is a lively place where many locals come for a morning coffee or breakfast. The staff gave me such welcoming feeling, always genuinely friendly and helping me with everything. They really know how to treat their guests and I have no words to express how great they all were.

If I visit Durres again, I will definitely return to Villa Lule. It is a wonderful hotel with a family and friendly atmosphere. The owner is a good person who, together with the employees, takes care of the perfect running of the hotel. Me and my friend had a room on the 3rd floor with a beach view. The room was very spacious and clean. Beautiful view of the sea. The staff was always available, friendly, kind and helpful and really hardworking. They always went above and beyond in everything. The sandy beach is about 10 steps away from the hotel. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hotel guests. The hotel restaurant is beautiful and up to standard. The menu is varied and a big compliment to the chefs because they cook perfectly. There is a long promenade in front of the hotel for a walk, and the city center is also not far away on foot. We had a stay with breakfast and the only thing I would complain about is that it was repeated every day. It didn't bother me personally, but if I was going for a longer stay, I would have something else. We spent 5 days in Durres and I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know. I thank the owners and the staff, who were a pleasant addition to the hotel and the stay.

My experience at this hotel was amazing! One of the things that impressed me the most was having breakfast on the rooftop with a breathtaking sea view – a perfect way to start the day. The hotel also offers a fantastic sauna, ideal for relaxing after a long day. Cleanliness was at the highest level, with every corner of the hotel well-maintained and spotless. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The rooms were beautifully designed, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! I would highly recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hotel is located in the second line from the beach, 2minutes walk. The hotel was clear, the stuff was helpful and the pool is the biggest attraction. The room was cleaned every day and we had very spacious place. The breakfast was every day the same but still you had a choice (eggs made 3 ways, ham, cheese, vegetables, marmalade, melon and watermelon, grapes and few kind of cakes. We also ate their paid dishes from the restaurant for dinner and was very tasty.

I have stayed in many hotels all over the place, but cannot recall many other hotel staffs being quite so helpful. They were exceptional: they did everything I needed, and more. They sorted airport transfers (which were on time, quick, and good value for money). I needed a desk in my room, so they gave me a different room with a nice big desk. They arranged food for my room when needed. Everything. They were also all extremely pleasant and friendly,

One of the best hotels in Albania! We had an amazing stay — everything exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness is impeccable, the breakfast is excellent with plenty of fresh and delicious options, and the Spa is simply incredible. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the pools are outstanding. The cuisine is top-notch, prepared by an excellent team led by an exceptional chef. We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

The airport is small, clean, and has a nice modern facade. Check-in was straightforward, and the building itself looks pleasant. During departure it was extremely crowded and chaotic, with no free seating and little space to move around. My flight was delayed, which made the wait even less comfortable. Nice small airport in design, but easily overcrowded and uncomfortable during busy hours.

Krujë is a charming historic town with narrow streets, an old bazaar, and plenty of traditional Albanian restaurants. The Castle Museum and Ethnographic Museum are must-visits, there’s so much history to discover. Rain or shine, it’s worth exploring, and on clear days, head up to the shrine on the hills for a stunning view over the entire Krujë valley.

The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

If you are not fussy about rural life, this is a good opportunity to get to know the real Albanian countryside. The family is very welcoming and helpful. The villagers were also friendly and willing to help you every step of the way. The cooking facilities at the property were very good. The location is great for getting around.

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

This is perfect for its purpose!

This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.

I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam.

I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.
