The hotel itself is in a great location, close to the old town and by the sea. From my room, I had a great sea view of Splits Harbor. Really great experience, and if in the future visit Split, I will sertainly stay on the same hotel.

Have to say that the hotel exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately we were only able to spend one night here but wish it was more. Great views in a large room. Also quite possibly the best hotel gym I have used to date. The pool area is the ideal place to cool off after a day in the Croatian heat. Great sound insulation in the rooms from the street and internal sounds.

We stayed for eight night and it was right.

We stayed for eight night and it was right. Planning each excursion and tour and other sight. We felt it just right. And really love the city. The Gastronomy is a beaut and the Karlivacko Radler was our favourite even the cakes and we ate at Buffet Fife. Wonderful place and the Marina is just great to watch. We just managed to find the way round with the help of Split map as a guide. We enjoyed all day sailing to the Solta island and stayed at Stomorska for lunch and swimming. Also to Mostar in Bosnia.

    Beautiful city, but too crowded.

Beautiful city, but too crowded. Cruise ship groups and Game of Thrones tours obstruct the narrow streets, but worth persevering. Seemed expensive prices 10-30% up on what we found in Split on same trip. Cable car over priced at 30 euros. Wall similarly but is in pass and may be worth it if there long enough and want to use other locations covered by the pass. We saw much of the city, some hidden away by not going on the walls. Boat trip to Cavtat worthwhile to escape the hoards of people. If touring suggest you come here first and then move on and enjoy the islands and Split afterwards. Probably worth staying on outskirts and getting bus in as no car access to much of the city near the old town.

Zadar has so much to offer — from narrow, charming streets full of cafés and restaurants serving delicious food and good music (like Rock Caffe), to interesting interiors, lovely beaches, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and parks. There’s also a wide range of organized boat trips to national parks, public transportation (though often delayed), and ferry connections to Ugljan Island and beyond.

Budva, like the other cities in Montenegro, is a fantastic place, nice beaches, a very beautiful old town, has a lot of water activities and night life is brimming . It is indeed a destination worthy of travelling for both young and old. Just be ready with lots cash because most of the shops and restaurants there only accepts cash. There are ATMs everywhere but there are charges. Transportation wise, if you are just in Budva, everything is walking distance, going to the beach or the old town, there are just minutes away. But, if you want to visit other places, taking a bus is the most effective way, it's cheaper than taking a taxi where the driver will ask a ridiculous price. Just go to the bus station and buy the tickets there in cash, don't buy them online because once you arrive at the bus station, they will ask you to print it otherwise it's null and void, they have printing servie there but it's gonna be another pay (1 euro per print).

Know where you are going and evaluate it accordingly!

Know where you are going and evaluate it accordingly! Durres is a city that is developing at a rapid pace, including the coast, the port and the city. The coastal promenade began to be transformed in 2022 and it turned out beautifully! It has one shortcoming, there is no garbage collector anywhere by the sidewalk, despite this, there is no garbage anywhere. Along the coast, you can still see the buildings left from the 19th century fishing village, some of them are still inhabited (!), in some places there is still a pile of garbage, beggars walk around in the evening, but the sea is fine, the transformation of the coast was very successful. Getting into the city from the hotel row by bus is inconvenient. It is nice to see how the city and the coast are completely transformed and modernized over the years. In 2025, three new hotels will be built on the hotel row, within a kilometer, and the handover is scheduled for 2026. Let's take a look! The food is pretty much the same everywhere, good, as are the prices, but the hospitality at the DELFINI restaurant is excellent! The people are nice and friendly. The traffic, oh my, you have to pay attention! The one whose car is ahead has priority. They honk, but despite that, they are patient and understanding with foreigners. In previous years, there was a concrete-lined beach area in front of some hotels, which was being cleaned up. Unfortunately, the concrete pieces can still be found underwater, which is very unpleasant to step on. Beachgoers throw the concrete pieces onto the beach, and the garbage truck takes them away the next morning. It would be nice to sift this out with a machine! In Italy, we saw a tractor that sifted and cleaned not only the beach sand, but also the sand in the shallow water. It should be done here, too!

I liked the place we stayed in Kotor, the Old Town, walks along the waterfront, and the restaurants along the waterfront. We traveled in the city by car. There are traffic jams during the high season, but they are not annoying, and parking issues are easily solved.

Pula is a lovely, surprising destination. A working port that also has a stunning coastline. The old town is like a mini Rome complete with an intact roman arena. People are friendly and the small city has a nice cosmopolitan feel. Public transport is easy to use and has an extensive network. Destined to become more popular, so go see it now!

Restaurants were v good particularly El Bugador, Puntulina and Rio. Not the cheapest but the quality for what you paid was excellent. Some lovely bars to watch the incredible sunsets too. Marina was good to walk through and walks along to Zlatna Uvala (maybe give Grill Lovor a miss-overpriced and little choice but a lovely spot), instead try Punta Cabana just before -very chilled!
