What stood out the most was the impeccable taste of the owners in decorating the space, creating a unique atmosphere and an incredibly pleasant experience. The staff was excellent, with prompt and thoughtful communication. It was my mother’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make her evening truly special. The dinner served on-site was absolutely delicious, and the spacious rooms, complete with powerful showers, added to the comfort. In summary, this was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Thabile Lodge and look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

Situated in De Rust, in a historic building, 38 km from Oudtshoorn Golf Course, Meijer's Rust is a farm stay with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The farm stay has private entrance. A little slip up on my behalf not noticing the section that said the cottage needed a high clearance vehicle. They happily changed the room for a cottage lower down, which was just as amazing, spacious and super comfortable too.
