Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and running rivers at Fern Resort Mae Hong Son. This nature resort features traditional Shan tribe bungalows and an outdoor pool. A free shuttle runs to/from Mae Hong Son Airport and Bus Station. We extended our stay one extra night to enjoy a true delightful experience immersed in an awesome natural environment. Our rooms opened to the rice field and at the back we had a running stream. From the resort you can take a trek through a national park. All around the resort you can see forest hills and all sorts of trees and vegetation. The staff was the best. They were absolutely spot on. I can't finish this description without mentioning Lidia and Sim. Lidia made us feel all the time like we were special, and went even as far as having sent to me a personal item that I had forgotten at the resort. I would certainly go back should I get the chance.

เห็ดเหลือง Hedreung banrakthai homestay and camping is a recently renovated guest house in Ban Rak Thai, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the lake and river. The room was beautifully decorated, felt clean and simple with modern amenities, and super comfortable beds. But the view over the village while sitting on the balcony was definitely the catch. A great place to stay in Ban Rak Thai which afforded a view of the whole village. Stunning at night when all the village lights came on. Huge breakfast delivered to the room in the morning! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.

Certain units at the property feature a patio with a mountain view. I already can’t wait to come back! It is a beautiful property and the staff are amazing! A super special shout out to Kay who was the highlight for me. Her huge warm smile and conversation makes you feel so at home. It’s only a 5min walk to walking street. I could not recommend this place enough!

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Clean rooms and very welcoming owners. They made sure that we are ok in our stay. It’s quite far from the center but if u have car or motorcycle it’s one of the beat place to stay in Maehongson. Breakfast was really good.

Breakfast is excellent, good choices and delicious coffee. The young ladies working there are kind and helpful.
