We also felt at home in this hotel, as the excellent chef prepared fresh and delicious meals based on our preferences. The entire staff was very attentive and helpful. The location is close to the boat dock, where tours to Shell Island are organized. We wish you success!

La estancia estuvo genial, y la hospitalidad de los propietarios la hizo aún mejor. Nos ayudaron a ponernos en contacto con un chico para hacer las excursiones en barca, además de acercarnos hasta un pueblo cercano para coger allí un 7 plazas. El lugar está muy cerca del embarcadero y de los restaurantes que hay para comer en el pueblo. En resumen estancia insuperable.

Ubicado a sólo 49 km de Niumi National Park en Soukouta, AUBERGE LA PRALINE tiene hospedaje equipado con terraza, jardín y alberca al aire libre. Desde luego lo mejor de este alojamiento es el trato de yaya, el gerente. Nos dio buena información y nos prestó mucha atención todo el tiempo, incluso acompañándonos al embarcadera para asegurarse de que no habría ningún malentendido, al haber tenido una mala experiencia nosotros en el viaje. Además habla español, lo cual siempre se agradece.

The owners were amazing: extremely fiendly and helpful! They also spoke English quite well (apart from their native language French). They helped us book tours that I think we could have never arranged by ourselves: amongst others a village tour with a villager/guide (who also spoke English well enough) that I would highly recommend if you go to Toubacouta. The other staff members at the B&B were also pleasant. Their cooking was great with both western and local elements, and they could even cater to our rather advanced food preferences (vegetarianism and allergies to nuts and soy protein)! The nice owners ate their meals together with the guests which was a convenient time to socialize and get some tips on what to do in the area.

Extremely peaceful setting, rooms are equipped with the necessary amenities. Air conditioning works and is cold. Staff were friendly, super helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. We felt so well taken care of. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

Excellent stay, beautiful location, wonderful trips organized by Hakuna Lodge, very nice and friendly staff, overall we enjoyed our visit very much.
