The property is non-smoking and is located 26 km from Aros Congress Center. The host Ulrika was really lovely, communication was very smooth and she answered her messages very quickly. We only stayed one night on the way between Stockholm and our next destination, but we really could have stayed another night! The room was super cosy, on a very nice farm. The bed was so comfortable! And we also really liked the very complete breakfast that was prepared for us. Overall a perfect first stop for our trip, and we would love to come back!

The view was the most amazing part. The cabin is right at the lakeside with nothing spoiling the view. We did not want to leave!

The conjoining of two beautiful old mansions with a shared courtyard in the nicest neighborhood in Stockholm provides incredible ambiance with amazing staff. Wonderful meals available in the dining rooms. Gym and libraries provided for guest use. Walking distance to many great restaurants and easy to get to downtown and old town.

The accommodation offers evening entertainment and room service. It's always wonderful to get good service in Sweden (as it can't be taken for granted)! The staff a Hotel Furusund was exceptional! They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! For that alone, I will give them 5 stars. Beyond that, the hotel is located in one of the most idyllic parts of the Swedish archipelago, it was a famous artist community at the turn of the century. There is lots to see, or you can just relax and take the views from the hotel. Recommend a room with a view! The restaurant goes out of its way to serve inventive dishes that are quite delicious. The breakfast buffet is also one of the best I've had. I will be back! Thank you so much!

You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

I would describe it as an old but very well maintained house that has a lot of character. You can roam around some of the house and find books, paintings and places to sit. There is also a shared kitchen. Definitely worth coming here.
