We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

Muscat International Airport is 205 km away. The camp was nicely located in the dunes, there were some other camps nearby, but not close enough to notice them without walking some distance. The facilities were amazing, tents were simple, yet well equipped and the little private bathrooms (including showers) were just perfect. Sunset camel ride was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Both the dinner and breakfast were well prepared with a large variety of food, we were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dinner and breakfasts.

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The luxury tent features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. Great location, service, food, transport to camp. This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. Easy transfer for 5 OMR one way, arranged a little in advance. Dinner was amazing and well worth the money. When we saw the location of most of the other camps-one next to the other..not really in the desert-you really want to stay at a place a little further away from it all like Moon Light Camp. Very sustainable setting, great, easy and beautiful huts, very little light in the night, which we liked a lot, all very clean. Humied was a very welcoming host, explained many desert facts and made us a sweet little picnic between the camels with fresh karak and dates in the sunset in the desert. We loved his very well kept camels, friendly and strong! We like to warmly recommend this camp!
