The place itself is great, with a spectacular view, very comfortable room, clean, nice bathroom, terrace. In the evening can see the stars from your bed. In the morning a nice sunrise. Also had breakfast and dinner which the family prepared for our, delicious local food. One thing if you go, a 4x4 car might help, we did not make it all the way in our small car, but you can ask to be picked up.

The apartment is comfortable and well kept, and the facilities are quite nice (common kitchen accessible 24/7 is well equipped). The breakfast was served at another place just a short walk from the apartment and was good (it was a typical Omani breakfast).

Located in the village of Misfat Al- Abriyeen in the state of Al-Hamra, Al Misfah Hospitality Inn is about 200 kilometers away from Muscat.

Its a restored ancient house overlooking the green palm groves and situated at the top of the house the famous Rogan Castle built more than 1500 years ago. The owner is really friendly, he recomended us a small museum (omani traditions) in Al Hamra which was worth a visit. The food was amazing (no fast food). Free coffee, water and best fresh dates at the terrace with a great view. It is located in a small and quiet village. Expect a traditional omani accomodation.
