The place itself is great, with a spectacular view, very comfortable room, clean, nice bathroom, terrace. In the evening can see the stars from your bed. In the morning a nice sunrise. Also had breakfast and dinner which the family prepared for our, delicious local food. One thing if you go, a 4x4 car might help, we did not make it all the way in our small car, but you can ask to be picked up.

We returned at 11.30 and took a shower. Our car was parked in front of the room. For getting there you definitely need 4WD car. Last few kilometers are realy bad. There is posibility for local breakfast for 3orm per person. There is also a small kitchen where you can prepare a breakfast on your own. The host was friendly. He explain us everything. He was waiting for us with tea.

Located in the village of Misfat Al- Abriyeen in the state of Al-Hamra, Al Misfah Hospitality Inn is about 200 kilometers away from Muscat.

Its a restored ancient house overlooking the green palm groves and situated at the top of the house the famous Rogan Castle built more than 1500 years ago. The owner is really friendly, he recomended us a small museum (omani traditions) in Al Hamra which was worth a visit. The food was amazing (no fast food). Free coffee, water and best fresh dates at the terrace with a great view. It is located in a small and quiet village. Expect a traditional omani accomodation.
