The owners picked us up with a jeep, organized a jungle tour for us and gave us a ride as well. The family is incredibly hard working and polite, they try their best to accommodate our wishes. The food is amazing. No AC but it wasn't necessary as it was pretty cool at night.

The hotel is located in a very romantic place - on the shore of a lake. The access to the lake is subtle and surrounded by greenery. There is an opportunity to go kayaking, which we took advantage of. While paddling a decent distance from the shore, my partner lost balance and flipped over on a single kayak. It was not dangerous at all since the lake is shallow, and we were equipped with life jackets. We were amazed that within 4-5 minutes after one of the two kayaks flipped, the hotel staff, in the form of rescuers, were already sailing towards us on a small barge. It was so pleasant. The hotel workers are extremely responsible, caring, and friendly. Our absence during the night (when we were at a party) was also noticed, and the hotel staff wrote to us, discreetly checking if everything was okay with us. Our stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations: the room was perfectly clean, the bedding was soft and of high quality, there was an extensive range of toiletries, well-maintained grounds, a clean swimming pool, and delicious food. This is one of the best places we stayed during our month-long trip around the island.

Rooms are well maintained and nicely equipped, even if small - still comfortable, and you can shower while looking at the lighthouse through the bathroom window. The family running the place is very friendly and speak good English. Next to the guesthouse they have a nice, quirky restaurant on the waterfront. You can park a tuk tuk or a bike in the garden - sun beds then get moved to the rooftop terrace, which has views to the ocean and the bay.
