And it is ideally located in the wonderful old town of Susa, with its Roman ruins and Medieval buildings. This was just a quick, one-night stay for us but we wish we could have stayed longer. Oh and Pizzeria Bella Napoli in the town square makes the BEST pizza. The concierge recommended it to us and we LOVED it! Overall, we highly recommend Convento Boutique Hotel.

Located along a mountain road 40 minutes from the city of Bardonecchia, isolated between the majestic mountains and a lush forest, at an altitude of 1993 metres, the Resort has a wellness center with indoor pool and spa. The Hotel is located right on the ski slopes with ski school and rental on site. The hotel has 1 buffet restaurant where it is possible to purchase half board packages. Free parking, located 500 meters from the hotel beyond the woods. We have limited space in our garage, with only 10 parking spaces available, accessible only by reservation and for a fee. The Savoia's large rooms feature an LCD satellite TV and elegant parquet floors. Some also enjoy views of the valley and mountains, while others overlook the forest. Pets are allowed at a cost of EUR 35 per stay, per room. We loved the drive to the Savoia, and its location right on the Jefferau slopes was perfect for us. Having use of the pool, sauna, and steam was lovely. The breakfast was exceptional every morning, and we treated ourselves to the five-star gourmet dinner which was beyond amazing!

After 12 hours on the road due to traffic and accidents, it was a great relief to find out we could still do the self check-in despite our very late arrival. To our surprise, instead of a simple room, we were given a spotless little apartment. It was equipped with everything we needed — even a kitchenette so we could prepare a quick dinner. The owner had kindly left us snacks, a bottle of cold water, and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge as a complimentary gift — such a thoughtful gesture and a very welcome surprise! The next morning we checked out by ourselves and continued our long journey, but not before exploring the charming village and picking up breakfast from the local bakery. We would definitely like to return — perhaps for 2 or 3 nights next time — to fully enjoy the excellent value for money and explore the beautiful surroundings..
