The location of Leenane Hotel makes it an excellent base for exploring Connemara. The facilities include a bar, a spacious restaurant and a private resident’s lounge. The hotel was beautiful in an awesome location. The room was spotless, and breakfast was phenomenal. I was shocked that a breakfast this wonderful was included with the stay! We also had dinner in the restaurant and the mussels were the best I’ve ever had.

We were greeted like family by "Jersey" the barman and welcomed to an excellent room by Eileen and her team. Nicely positioned for the Ring of Kerry and the drive round Slea Head. The absolute icing on the cake, was the kindness of the lady on reception who helped to clean the sand from many beaches, out of the footwells on the hire-car, with her Henry Hoover! Service absolutely above and beyond kind.

The property has sea and garden views, and is 1.6 km from Magheraroarty Beach. Mount Errigal is 18 km away and Dunfanaghy Golf Club is 21 km from the chalet. Beautiful location, spacious, comfortable pods, the views are incredible, would highly recommended, if there was only one criticism it's that a few more pillows & towels could be provided, facilities are great, hot shower & plenty cooking facilities.

The property is non-smoking and is located 700 metres from Cork Custom House. The staff was so friendly. Excellent spread for breakfast every morning, could not believe it was free. Rooms were clean, nice fitness facility. Couldn't have had a better stay.
