Pension Felipe is a really charming, lovely place to stay in Pythagorion. It’s very central, and the host Chrisiis is lovely and very helpful. We especially loved the balcony in our room, which had beautiful plants (like a lot of the property!) The shower was very quick to heat up which is always appreciated! Loved our stay here and would definitely return.

Will definitely be staying again!

If you are traveling to the island of Samos in Greece and would like to stay near a very nice beach, I highly recommend Villa Maria in Kampos, on the south/southwest coast of the island. All of the ten rooms have a balcony or a terrace with room for a table and at least two chairs and all of the rooms have a view to the beach. The rooms have a sink, refrigerator, and a stovetop/oven combination unit. There are dishes and cooking utensils available. Although there are many restaurants available in Kampos, there are mini-marts and supermarkets nearby and it is possible for you to prepare meals in your room. Maria and Manolis are excellent hosts. You will be greeted warmly and if you need anything, they will do their best for you. Villa Maria is not located directly on the main road but is separated from it by a well-maintained swimming pool with deck chairs and umbrellas…and the family’s large vegetable garden. Spending time at the beach while you are in Kampos is wonderfully relaxing. To get to the beach from Villa Maria, you walk down the driveway, cross the street, and you are there. When you get to the beach and choose a sunbed under the reed umbrellas, Giannis and the crew at the Island Bar will make you feel welcome and will fill your orders for refreshments promptly. We loved it so much. If we come back to Samos, we will 100% stay here again. Best choice ever.

Set within 400 metres of Psili Ammos beach Samos and 19 km of Folklore museum of Karlovasi, Blue Horizon offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Marathokampos. Blue horizon is absolutely beautiful in every way. We had such a wonderful relaxing stay, even with four children in tow! I don’t know where to start. I never review anywhere but this one I have to. Artemis and his wife and all the staff are so friendly and helpful, they make you feel like part of their family while you’re staying but not in a way that makes you feel you don’t have your own privacy. The pool is lovely, views are just something from heaven. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Artemis is there early in the morning cleaning and watering all the beautiful plants. Air con really good, rooms so clean. The breakfast is delicious, pizzas and burgers incredible, very reasonable price too. We had a car hire disaster and Artemis was so helpful in trying to solve our problems, he has all the right contacts for anything you need. Also a doctors and chemists number when my child needed something. We will definitely come back and we never go anywhere twice but we felt so safe and comfortable here. Just perfect in every way. Location you have a lovely sand and shallow water beach to walk to, 3 tavernas and a bar. Kampos is 5 min drive away with supermarket and loads of restaurants and shops, bars etc
