We stayed for one night (but I wish we’d stayed for two nights at least). Porto Kagio is a very small intimate charming little village stretched across the beach of a small cove. A wonderful getaway spot with stunning views on the approach. The owner Panayioti was kind and generous, offering to help with our bags then bringing us coffee on our patio. Our room was charming and well appointed, with a cupboard, a desk, a suitcase rack, and a little fridge. Clean with a comfortable bed. We had a patio with a sea view and we were a short stroll to the beach. Breakfast was served on the top floor patio although the owner offered to serve us on our patio. Breakfast itself was fine although myself I would have liked some fresh fruit too. We did an easy walk around to the point where there is a little church and a stunning view back to the cove. We ate fresh and perfectly cooked fish at Taverna Porto right on the beach. An enjoyable time altogether.

Situated in Monemvasia in the Peloponnese region, Chrysoula’s Convenient Triple Room with Yard features a garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Monemvasia Beach is 200 metres away. Very friendly and helpful host, she lived in the apartment above and was always available to help or provide helpful suggestions. Room had a refrigerator, hot plate for cooking simple food, sink. It didn’t have a microwave or a coffee maker but she provided a coffee maker for me when I asked. Location was right near the grocery store in town and a 7 minute walk to the restaurants and such in town . She provided us with oranges as well as eggs which was appreciated!
