It features free WiFi, a 24-hour reception, a bar and a free private parking in front of the hotel. Lovely sheets, pillows, towels, shower. Everything super clean and tastefully decorated. Great selection at breakfast and best bacon I’ve had in 9 months on the road. Free bus from station into town every 15 mins. Staff very friendly. Can leave your luggage. Cannot check in very early as the check in lady doesn’t arrive until 2.30!

Château de Pourtalès is located in the north area of Strasbourg. It has witnessed years of European history, welcoming some of the most important musicians, philosophers and poets. It provides a spa area with Finnish sauna and relaxing facilities and which has direct access to the garden. This Chateau is simply superb! The building is beautiful, the room was spotlessly clean, spacious and had a nice little outside area to sit and relax without being overlooked. This history of the chateau is fascinating and it’s so nice to see how the grounds are enjoyed by the locals. The grounds are gorgeous, a lovely place to walk about. The staff were incredible, so friendly, so welcoming and so helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us. They helped us get a taxi into the city centre and reserved a table for us at a wonderful restaurant. There was complimentary water and truffles in our room as well as a treat for our dog and an extremely reasonably priced mini bar. There’s a self-service bar area also which is a pretty room with a piano and complementary tea and coffee which is a beautiful space. There’s certainly something very special about this place, I look forward to going back when I’m next in Strasbourg.

Comfortable room. Kind and welcoming hosts. Free parking in the yard. Wine shop on the first floor with delicious Alsatian wines.

The Alsatian Museum is 100 metres from the property and Porte de l’Hopital tram stop is just 350 metres away. The location is very convenient if you are arriving by car. The hotel provided all the details on how to arrive, where to park including the discount for the secured and covered parking beforehand. The room was spacious and super clean, had all the amenities needed and complimentary Nespresso coffee, tea and water were much appreciated. We also greatly appreciated the staff's courtesy and availability on all our requests. The breakfast was good with big variety of cold and menu with hot dishes if anyone interested, though we would appreciate more vegan options e.g., pastries, yoghurt, etc. The bed was super comfy and we had a great sleep, also with very quiet environment despite the central location. The hotel provide discount for the parking and various tours, which was nice. We also borrowed umbrellas and we could leave the luggage for a couple of hours with no problem. The marmalade greeting gift from the staff was a nice touch too! Definitely would recommend and will stay again if find great deals as it is a little pricey.
