The hot and cold pools exceptional, with lots of secluded areas for those who like peace and quiet. The chef salsa chicken was spectacular.

The room itself was very fun and well-appointed with a small kitchen and bathroom. The windows of the glamping dome overlooked the foothills of Poas Volcano. We were surrounded by nature with numerous birds in the forests nearby.

But what truly made this stay unforgettable was the family hosting the place. Their kindness and care were absolutely extraordinary. They were there for every little question, provided me with everything I needed, and made me feel not just welcomed, but genuinely cared for. It was the kind of warmth and generosity that’s rare to find - I almost felt like I had become a part of their family. Thanks to them, I had a perfect rest and a smooth trip the next morning. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like this before. The kindness I experienced here was truly something out of this world :)

There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The house is very nice. Nice decoration. Two big beds. Parking just in front of the lodge. Washing machine available. Very calm but close to the main road. Friendly host.

The property is non-smoking and is set 4.6 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. Location was great, close to downtown but in a quiet area. Maikol and Grace went above and beyond to help me plan my stay in Costa Rica. Maikol arranged transport from the airport and to my next destination. My dog was safe and had a friend to play with. Grace showed me some walks and let me practice my Spanish with her. The bed was comfy and I used the washer and drier. The kitchen is well equipped, it even has a kettle for tea.

With quiet street views, this accommodation features a patio. The apartment also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Lovely place 15min ride from la fortuna. We loved being amongst all the animals, close to the nature. We ended up extending our stay one night.

Felt very welcomed. Plus, location is perfect because it’s close to the airport (which is a big differential given the amount I’d have spent on taxi if I had stayed at another hostel in San Jose’s city center)… and the area is really chill, with a beautiful view of the mountains and good restaurants. Definitely staying there again anytime I find myself in San Jose in the future.
