Great hotel in Downtown Vancouver, friendly staff, nice room, spotlessly clean, nice toiletries... very centrally located...there is really nothing bad to say about it. The breakfast they offer works a little bit different than man may be used to. It's offered in a restaurant on the second floor of the building and it offers a menu that you need to choose from, but wow, what a breakfast!!!!! Incredible portions, well cooked, well served... you can choose among different sweet or salty options, from English breakfast to french toasts and they are very accommodating if you want something simpler for your kids for instance! We loved it!

Private parking is available on site. Loved the place! It was our 7th time visiting Vancouver. So we've stayed at a lot of places in the past and can compare. Absolutely loved the Smithe House. Everything at the room/apartment is very well thought out, you have everything you need (*even umbrellas for the rainy Vancouver!). The staff is extremely helpful and nice, they were always available if we needed any help or support. So definitely happy with the stay 10/10.

The people were very nice and helpful! We got good help with every question about renting a car or a bike (which is for free at the hotel) and also getting some tea water for our bottles for the day. The Receptionists were very friendly, especially Nada who was working with us every day of our stay. We got complementary water, tea and coffee pots every day.

The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi and family rooms. Our stay at Bramblebank Cottages was as lovely as other reviewers indicated. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and there is a hot tub and a firepit, as well as a barbeque area and places to lounge under the trees. We stayed in the Lily Pad cottage, which is cozy but very pretty and well-equipped. The lake is just a short stroll away and it was easy to walk almost anywhere in town from the cottage. We were on a road trip and only stopped for one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!
