The property is amazing. I have made a longer trip by car through eastern part of Canada and stopped in many hotels overnight. But here I had the best night sleep. The house is so cosy, with such an amazing energy and the owners so friendly. I had a very beautiful room and a very comfy bed. All over the place you can feel that the owners pour their heart into the place. The breakfast is home made and is very special with high quality ingredients. Initially I was worried in regard to the shared bathroom but there are more than one in the house and this was not a problem. I would return and I would stay longer. Also, you should not miss the sunset in Rimouski while you are there.

We appreciated being able to have our dinner in the Spa area and a quick dip in the hot tub after a long day's drive. Our room and bathroom were cosy and comfortable. We had a great night's rest. Celine made us a wonderful take out breakfast so we could make our early ferry reservation.

All the facilities were new and fresh and felt especially clean. Special attention was paid to using materials that are easily washable and cannot hide lack of cleanliness. My room right on the water was dreamy, with the sound of the waves lapping the shore in the morning. It was raining my entire stay, so I was glad to at least have been able to be so close to the water and see some natural beauty. The meal at the auberge restaurant was also a delight. Lots of fresh locally sourced ingredients, and cooked to perfection. I savored every bite. Props to the chef. This place was a surprise gem. I really thought I'd be staying in the usual 3-star Quebecois auberge, but this was next level and yet the price is so reasonable.
