The location was close to the downtown but certainly not walkable. However the owners offer to drive us back and forth. Very hospitable.

The unique design of the Salt Hotel was something that you need to pay up for. The rooms were very cozy and it had a great view. Bolivia might not be known for its food, but the food at the hotel was incredible. The A la Carte was delicious and the chef prepared unique plates. The buffet was also delicious and the service was friendly. Ditto with the breakfast. The pool and spa were also extremely unique - it had incredible design and the view across the salt flats was absolutely mesmerizing. This is a must-stay.

Speaking English, Spanish and Italian at the 24-hour front desk, staff are always at hand to help. Great room. Really spacious. Good size lockers. Lovely old building. Location is spot on. Staff very helpful even got the kettle on for me as I left super early on the last morning and breakfast good. Would definitely stay here again. WiFi was a little hit and miss and don’t recommend the laundry it all came back clean but was a bit crumpled.

We had a lovely stay. This hotel has Friendly staffs, hot shower and even heater in the room. There is water dispenser so we don’t need to buy bottles of water. Great location which is just next to many popular travel agencies. The lady at reception let us stay a while to wait for our tour.
