You get what you pay for! This is a typical low-end motel and you get what you pay for. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and you can park your car right in front of your room. The staff was friendly and answered my questions. It's also a very convenient location right in the middle of my trip down to OBX.

We stayed in a beautifully updated room, but overall the staff very incredibly lovely, many thoughtful touches around the place including access to bikes, picnic baskets and the likes for those on holiday, the breakfast was incredible, and the location is perfect for a stay in Chincoteague. Overall we had a lovely time! Love the special touches in the room including guide and history books.

    Honestly its very cool being on the water! Only thing it may get you nauseous the first day but you get used to it. Very convenient having pots and pans to cook, mugs and other essentials. 15 mins away from Chincoteague Beach which is nice. The screen in the patio is a life saver don’t have to worry about mosquitoes. I love that it’s pet friendly, had a great time with my dogs here. They also have wagons you can use to haul your stuff which was very helpful. Very family friendly.

    I must confess, my previous experiences at similar hotels left much to be desired. However, this time, I was pleasantly surprised and chose to remain silent no longer. The experience exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The rooms were impeccably clean and cozy, the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast at Amari was a delight, with delicious offerings that left us thoroughly satisfied. Even our furry friend, our dog, gave their paw of approval to this wonderful establishment.

    The food was very good, staff was excellent, dog friendly was a huge plus, location was great for walking, the room was quiet, alarm clock had outlets and usb ports and room size was decent. Parking was plentiful. The free wine, water, coffee, dog waste bags, and game availability was a nice touch. Bathroom having its own heater and a working fan was a nice surprise.

    We loved the location and views. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Unfortunately the beds weren’t very comfortable, similar to camper beds, so it was expected. They are dog friendly but unfortunately the dog park wasn’t open yet and would have been nice for potty breaks. The whole campground is gravel not paved, so other than the few grassy areas it was hard on our old dogs paws. Overall we had a very nice time and will definitely be back with a little adjusted planning. ☺️
