The room was so comfy and adorable! We loved how big and thoughtfully designed the bathroom was. The spa tub and shower were both huge and we loved them. It was nice that the toilet area had a separate door for extra privacy, which was helpful while we were both getting ready for a wedding. We loved the fireplace and all the extra touches provided. We were pleasantly shocked the available DVD choices in the DVD library! So many new releases and popular movies. It felt as comprehensive as a Blockbuster, and honestly better than any options in a single streaming service. This hotel is low key, while also being perfect for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the general vibe of the grounds, and the bunnies. I saw a review before booking that someone felt like the hotel was like summer camp for adults, and I completely agree, but in the best way!

Our room looked out on the ocean, which was a boil of Winter storm surf. Beautiful! There's a good deli, store just a one minute walk from our room. Latte's, wine, doggie treats, etc. Instead of going out for dinner, we purchased some deli food and took it all back to our room. Great views and good food.

We had an amazing stay at Surfsand Resort! From the moment we arrived, we felt really welcomed and taken care of. The staff was super friendly and kind, and it was such a nice surprise to get a free welcome drink at check-in! There are always hot drinks available in the lobby—hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and apple cider. Such a cozy little bonus, especially after being out in the fresh air. Our room was super clean and felt newly renovated. We loved the comfy bathrobes, the big bathtub, and the fireplace—it all made the stay extra cozy. Plus, we had a beautiful view of Haystack Rock right from our room! One of the best parts was how close the beach is—less than a 2-minute walk, which is amazing, especially with kids. We also booked the beach bonfire for $50, and it was such a fun experience. The staff set everything up and gave us everything for s’mores—sticks, marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate. It was the perfect beach night! There’s also a warm indoor pool and a hot tub on site, which our kids loved and we really enjoyed too. Honestly, this hotel feels like the most budget-friendly option in the area, but it delivers 100% and even more. Great value for the price. We stayed with our two kids and loved everything—no complaints at all. We’ll definitely be back!

The location to the beach, it’s within walking distance. The room is comfortable for 4 people and the bed was comfortable too. The kids enjoyed being able to turn on the fireplace. Especially, since we live in New Orleans.

The staff are absolutely lovely and go the extra mile to be helpful. Whomever decorated the rooms really thought about the finishing touches, they're charming and have such character - I think each is probably unique. Room was spotless. Extremely convenient location, just a minute or two walk to the beach.

    Loved the location! So close to the beach but still a quiet area. It's clean hotel, a very cozy town and I must say everyone was so friendly! The staff were fantastic. Incredibly accommodating and friendly. Always a warm smile and welcome. Would absolutely recommend staying here in the future. It is dog friendly, they even provided a spare towel for the pup, a dog bowl and some treats! I have to say I was very impressed with their service.

    Very attractive, clean and well appointed. The pond was pretty and the rabbits very cute. Best was how dog friendly it was and easy to manage (I have two). I loved the attention to detail…dog bowls, towels to dry them off, sheets to cover the bed/couch and biscuits. (Chocolates for me😊). The location was great, so close to Tolovana Park. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly.
