We absolutely recommend Chokoro House for anyone coming to Paje! the owners are so kind and available and their place so intimate, in a quiet area but also close enough to the beach and to town. Their breakfast is by far the best we ever had in all our trips ! Super good wi-fi if you are teleworking (like us ). In short, an absolute gem !

Excellent location: just seconds away from the beach, plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hosts, Alessandra and Culture, were incredibly helpful and hospitable: they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, giving us the very best advices to visit Zanzibar east coast and to manage day trips. Thank you! I highly recommend this gorgeous building for anyone visiting Zanzibar.

    Great place, well located and it’s always glad to get back at this amazing hostel! Staff are really nice, with lots of advice about the town as well as about the activities on the island.
