I was so happy with the guest house, it’s a very cozy place in Nungwi and you’ll definitely feel at home in Papaya. Rooms have self controlled air conditioning and very hot water!. Free unlimited water refills and wonderful breakfast included in the price. They also have a generator so when the power goes out (which happens regularly in Africa) you still have lights and a hot water. Pool is meticulously clean. This place has so much character! I was lucky to see one of the many beautiful murals painted while I was there. There was a problem with my air conditioner my second night there and Max took care of it right away the next day. I really appreciated the late check out, too, as I had an evening flight.
