United KingdomThe hotel is in a fabulous position overlooking the countryside in Storlien. We were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay. The copper bar is especially nice, having had a recent refurbishment , like many other parts of the hotel.The hotel's history is very evident .

It oozes atmosphere, and is located right next to the station. There was insect gauze in the window to keep the midges out. Breakfast was good and the staff are friendly. The hotel is good value for money, by Swedish standards. Located in a very old wooden building at the train station close to the Norwegian border. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was nice with a very nice selection of Swedish craft beers. I visited the place in winter with many snow and this was very charming. In some reviews is mentoined that it was very noisy at night, I had not experienced this. Storlien is a small town so we got to see aurora from a dark spot within walking distance. Good room with comfortable beds.
