Incredible property run by very hospitable people. It’s one of the best places I’ve stayed at, and has the great fresh food from their farm and orchard. It also a stunning view of the Passu Cones.

Forget about fancy, domestic-popular, mediocre and overpriced overhyped Karimabad. The real gem is the Wakhi village of Gulmit Gojal, a 30 minutes drive from the local bus station nearby Aliabad. Peaceful and quiet village facing the river and the Karakoram mountain range, a short walk from Hussaini suspended bridge, and the jeep departure point to the secluded and beautiful Shimshal valley. Ideally and central located but quiet from the main road. A rarity in Gulmit considering that other places are often overpriced and mediocre quality. The welcoming and friendly Ahmed's family is the real gem here, a truly Wakhi hospitality and care for its customers, knowledgable about Balstistan and its culture, adding a value to what is already the best option by far compared to its competitors. Highly recommended.

I like staying at hotels because they provide a comfortable and convenient place to stay when I'm away from home. The beds are usually very comfortable, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and there's often a variety of amenities available such as room service or cycling and hiking .
