One of the best places I have ever stayed. Our host was incredibly helpful with arranging pickup from airport, even helping with a punctured wheelchair tyre. The property is very safe and peaceful, the rooms are really comfortable and clean, nicely decorated with really good bathroom facilities. We enjoyed the breakfast, and the highlight was of course learning about traditional weaving and natural dyes. Location is great, nice and quiet but can catch a moto taxi into the main village very easily from right outside.

Such great value in a beautiful town. After staying in shared rooms in hostels this private room with huge bed and heaps of space felt so luxurious. I loved staying here and didn’t want to leave. Andy was very helpful and responsive to messages. The bathrooms were clean and functional and the shower was very hot. The wifi worked great. Everything is in walking distance. All in all a beautiful place to stay!

Picturesque Hotel is set in the mountains. Everything in the hotel is stunning, gorgeous rooms that are fitting for the rustic farmhouse style of property but very modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff were there to assist with everything, and we were never left waiting for or needing anything, super kind people, and lots of cats and dogs that were also friendly and happy for a bit of a cuddle.

easy to find location, very clean and with shared facilities to make your own coffee and store food in a fridge. The hotel is a renovated old family house, done with a great eye for detail. Comments said that the neighborhood is noisy and it’s true but we asked for a room with a window to the inner patio and has no issues with noise at all. The owner Edgar and the hotel staff were so friendly, they made us feel very much at home and very comfortable.

The hotel was beautiful but what was really outstanding was the staff, all of them. They made our stay memorable. My daughter wad the flu and stayed mainly in the room, and she was taken care of :) Staff went the extra mile.

The whole experience is wonderful and amazing! This is the best hotel I booked in México. The receptionist is so considerate. The room is beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. They even have a WhatsApp channel for any question. If someday I go back to Oaxaca, I’ll chose Pug Seal.
