Our room had a large sitting area with fabulous views over the mountains. The bed was comfy and the hammock on our balcony was a lovely touch. The food at supper and breakfast was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and helpful

The Riad chama is a magical place! The entire venue is decorated in the Moroccan tradition. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and kind. The breakfast is generous and delicious. Dining options are available on site. Dining on the terrace overlooking chefchaouen was a real pleasure.

If you want to see beauty and ambiance of chefchoan upclose , this is the place, we also had the kitchen , to make tea , we were given slippers to wear inside the property which were moroccan made traditional, I think that was a thoughtful detail. The breakfast was so good , best coffee and traditional breakfast, we are very happy we picked this place for our stay at chefchoan.

The house is extremely beautiful and well kept, and the terrace has a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy the view of Chefchaouen by night. Our hosts were very polite.

Host opened the doors and welcomed us. Appartment is really nice and blue as the town. There were a lot of blankets in case of cold as we were there in December. We could walk to the city center and park the car near the place.

The staff is super friendly and will help you with everything. The breakfast is very good. We traveled with 2 young kids and the staff gave them watermelon and pancakes as a snack! The room is very cute. You have everything you need. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Mohammed and his family are the nicest and kindest hosts we had on our vacation. Their garden, the view, the nature around the house, the kindness of the host family and the very good (!!) food made our stay at mohammeds place perfect. The house is located in a complete calm sorrounding but like the other guest said - its a 15 Minute walk to the center! We drove there with our car, a dacia logan 2x2 which was kind of okay, but it was really hard on the way back to get up the hill again (thankfully mohammed is very experienced and helped us at the hardest bit of the way). So long story short - it is definetly possible to go there without 4x4 but be prepared for challanges!

We felt so privileged to spend our Xmas in this beautiful, historic building. The riad’s location, close to the hussle and bustle of Chefchaouen’s extraordinary narrow blue lanes, makes the graceful calm of the interior all the more surprising and welcoming. This really is a tranquil retreat with trickling fountain and tasteful art works and furniture. Full of surprises, the sunny roof terrace was a perfect sun trap and there is even a good quality table tennis table hidden on another terrace. But most of all this is a lavishly renovated family home, filled with echoes of its historic past and yet really comfortable for family travel in 2024. The staff are so welcoming and breakfast is an art work and culinary delight! As you can probably tell we absolutely loved our short time in Lalla Ghatya and I’m sure you will too!!!
