The location and the staff are incredible!! The team was very nice and helpful, Chathuni made us feel at home and Mark taught us all about nature and the park, it was just great. The rooms are very comfortable, equipped with private bathroom, AC and wifi. The place itself is great, you can relax there before/ after the safaris. Actually, they also organize the safaris, which is very convenient. We will definitely come back if we visit Yala again.

Priyantha and his family gave us an experience we will never forget.The family was extremely friendly and hospitable and Priyantha and his son,Hansa,went above and beyond with their care for us. Communication after booking was excellent. As the location is off the main road and up a challenging but fun dirt track we were met at Yoda lake and followed Hansa to the accommodation,which is located 10 yards from the perimeter of Yala National park. As we were driving our rented Tuktuk,Priyantha and Hansa kindly drove us back to the local town and main roads at the end of our stay. We stayed 4 nights in an authentic mud house which is set in a wonderfully designed woodland setting.Rooms are very private,extremely peaceful and away from all the tourists. Priyantha provided plenty of excellent healthy food as and when you wanted it,you will not go hungry here.A fire was set for us to sit round every evening with the host providing authentic live music after dinner.Three of the healthiest and friendliest dogs belong to the family and will gladly lead you on the many walks available from the property. We saw an abundance of wildlife on the local walks,monkeys,deer,eagles,crocodiles to name but a few.Priyantha kindly took us traditional rod fishing,net fishing,to a secret beach where we were the only two people and were lucky enough to see an elephant very close to the beach in addition to a visit to a local monastery and local temple which had a unique twist.A full day safari tour was also organised by Priyantha with his very experienced and friendly driver,at a very reasonable price.We simply cannot recommend Yala wild house and farm high enough if your willing to embrace an experience never to be forgotten. Thank you Priyantha,Hansa,Loki,driver and family,you all went above and beyond to provide us with the most amazing experience.

My time at Podi Hoona Luxury Bush Camp was absolutely great. From the food , to accommodation was absolutely perfect, The chefs food was the best i ate on my trip. The staff organised me a game drive at Yala National Park which I was lucky to witness the magnificent Sri Lankan Leopard, Sloth bear many elephants and many bird species. Its the ideal place to be in the wild.

Definately book here. Everything was perfect. Friendly staff, great food and plenty of it, best accomodation we’ve had in Sri Lanka, beautiful attention to detail and idealic location so close to the Yala NP. Gabriel organised the safari for us with guides that he trusts and they did a great job. We saw a leopard, an elephant, toucans, monkeys, crocodiles, spotted deer and lots of birdlife. Can’t recommend booking this place highly enough.

Location in jungle few km outside Kataragama, Beautiful Romantic Naturel Clay House quiet place - very clean big room, nice fancy bathroom separate also clean and nice design. They've made everything for nature products wich is wonderfull. The Lady Host gives very good service hospitality she is kind friendly helpfull. Lasanthe (husband) has tuktuk and drive you in very friendly way. I like to come again and reccommend high on the list. From Lady I got some tea and fruits

The staff at the lodge were exceptionally accommodating and knowledgeable of the wildlife/area. They were flexible and adaptive to providing safari and meals. The setting was beautiful with amazing animals to see within the grounds
