I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

Our family spent 5 nights here, we had a wanderful stay! Accomodation is in beautiful location, right next to the rice fields with view at the Lions rock. The sound of the nature in the evening was incredible. Manager Sujee make us feel very welcomed, preparred for us tasty meals for a very good price. Also they pack for us breakfast when we left early for the Lions Rock. They have a super nice jeep driver that took us aroud the Sigiriya, show us iteresting places and arrange very tasty village lunch. The room had comfortable beds, hot shower. The pool is just perfect. Thank you for making our holiday unforgetable!!

The place is absolutely amazing, the rooms are really comfortable with a really good lavender smell. Having a tasty breakfast with nature sounds and talking with the friendly staff was great. Very close walk to Sigiriya’s Lion Rock Totally recommend if you ever come here

Booking at Oleena home stay you don't get an accommodation only. You get a perfect piece of Paradise and a great host. The owner Jeewa is ready to assist you and organize for you everything you might need - from transport, Ayurveda massage, safari, daily trips or ginger biscuits 😀 They have a lovely daughter Oleena and we hope she will be the second generation manager of the home stay. His lovely wife Masha cooked traditional food for dinner and we love it. The room is very big and clean, as well as the bathroom. You will have a lovely private terrace and spectacular quite mornings with birds songs. And, of course you will have a breakfast. The location is in the forest and it's perfect spot for those who want to escape main road and traffic noise, but it's only 10-15 min walk to it. There is some small markets around in case you need something, a Buddhist temple, nice restaurants and of course all Jeewa's support. And...they have a lovely dog Tarzan, who is protecting the area, very gentle with guests, so you are more than safe at this place. Thank you Jeewa, Masha, Oleena and Tarzan and see you soon 😊

Had a wonderful stay at this resort, the room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and helped us organise stuff that we needed organising and were kind enough to let us check out late as we had an evening flight. A perfect location to explore the Lion rock-10 mins away and very easy to walk to local restaurants. We also had a big breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

In our opinion, it was the best accommodation we were able to stay at in Sri Lanka. A great location, surrounded by nature and a tranquility that allows one to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, clean rooms and a natural wooden decor – exactly what we love. The pool is amazing! Very clean, nice temperature! The staff is very helpfull, responsive and will give you the best tips for your trip! We took a tuktuk to Pollonaruwa old city and enjoyed the trip so much! The driver told us so many wonderfull things about the region, we just loved the whole day being with him.
