Accommodation situated on the outskirts of the coconut village amidst the agro fields. 3.5km to the empty beach, 35 min walk, 16 min run, 10 min by bike through the local houses and fields. Very quiet agro area. Good for discovering a way of local's life. Anuska, the host, he arranged for us the snorkeling trip to Bar reef for very reasonabld price. Excellent communication with the host. A gentleman in the charge of the property and the kitchen was very helpful. A great and rich organic food served during the breakfast and dinner. The nearest bus stop in 10 min walking distance from the accommodation. Thr rooms are ample and very nice. Very neat bathroom. Highly recommended provided this sort of experience is the one you're up to.

An incredibly stylish and beautiful hotel. I was looking for a calm place and this was a perfect match. However, you can socialize if you want. Jessie, the manager, is doing his job with a strong sense of responsibility, Ansalees and other employees are highly professional and kind. Hotel boat can take you to the beach. The place is very popular for kitesurfers and the beach was very windy during my stay, but you can relax perfectly at the hotel pool. The atmosphere there is idyllic. Food was really tasty.

Dili and Roshan and their family where treating us as their family members. We felt immediately at home at their place. We enjoyed fantastic meals prepared in their own little restaurant. Each meal was prepared with passion! The last evening we enjoyed at a festival together what was a very special moment for us to dive into Sri lankian culture. We had a very nice stay! Nirukthie & her husband made us feel at home! The food was topnotch, fresh fish and prawns cooked to perfection! Real treat! They were also very helpfull in arranging transport, and renting motorbikes. The cabanas are on the beach and excellent beach for swimming. Beautiful quiet beach garden, with many frangipan trees. Thanks Nirukthie &crew we will keep many beautiful memories!

Luke the owner was superb! His vision for the property is truly inspirational. The atmosphere, vibe, service & professionalism was first class. Food was delicious. We gave the chef free reign to cook for us. We were not disappointed! Fish, prawns, incredible soups, curry, freshly made naan bread. We felt very spoilt! The property has been designed with love and care. The views! We loved all the finer details on display. The location is a knock-out! Right on the lagoon. What a magic spot to kite surf & do a range of water sports. Luke and his staff can cater for everyone’s needs. Can’t forget to mention the bed! Divine! Lovely linen. Gorgeous outdoor shower too. My husband and I travel a lot. And have stayed in too many places to count. What we love about Asari is the love that has been put into designing & creating this resort. It’s special. If you want to arrive to a beautiful unspoilt location with the warmest of smiles & services then you will love this place! Truly a very memorable experience. Sad to leave, but we will return. 5 stars!!!!
