The owners Saman and Sandive were very welcoming. They made sure that everything in the room was ready before our arrival. Both are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was just amazing, spotless clean, you can definitely sense the attention to every detail. The location is great, quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees all around. The view is spectacular, you can see the waterfall and hear the sound of running water from distance when lying in your bed, just a wonderful scene to wake up to. Saman prepared a delicious breakfast and delivered it to the room by herself just to make sure that we do not need anything else. This was by far one of the best places we have been to in Ella. We would definitely book that place again on every trip back to Ella. We highly recommend this place.

Amazing view with comfortable stay.The host Shalika n her family are very familiar n friendly n helpful too. She made our stay very comfortable n home feeling.The view from property is mesmerising. Rooms is very big with all amenities. Very tasty food. Great place to spend time with family n friend. I had a wonderful stay at Idyll Cottage Ella! The bed was very comfortable, and the location offered an incredible view that made our experience even more special. Dashana, our host, was exceptionally helpful and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

    This homestay offered excellent value for money. The room was spacious, clean and nicely appointed. Surrounded by lush greenery, we enjoyed watching birds from our large balcony. The owners were friendly and accommodating. We grew fond of their dogs, Doly and Hailey, who warmly welcomed us and played with us throughout our stay. Additionally, the homestay is conveniently located near Ella Town.

    Amazing view with a really nice and helpful host. The location is a bit outside of the city but there is a shortcut to reach it in 10 minutes through a tea plantation. The owner is so chill and kind , he made nice breakfast and helped in every question. Also the pets made my stay more chill.
