The staff were very friendly and helpful. For example when we were just having a well-deserved beer after a long hike, we were offered special little cakes made "in house" - for free! The location is good, a little way out of the main town which can be very busy. The car parking is good. We were able to borrow an umbrella for a walk to town - a welcome service!

    The breakfast was outstanding. Every effort was made to meet our dietary needs. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The bathroom is well equipped, and the shower is super. The property is absolutely lovely and in a great location. The owners are very helpful regarding visiting the town and surrounding areas and for hiking information. So far on our trip, this was the best accommodation. We wish we could return!
