We were met by the owner on arrival who offered us a glass of wine before showing us to our room. This was generously sized with a very comfortable bed and a humongous, well-equipped, stylish bathroom. We were only staying for a night (a pity) and had driven all the way from Rome so didn't fancy going into Mantua for dinner. Instead the owner recommended a fantastic pizza restaurant five minutes away that really did the job. The next morning we were served a wonderful breakfast, all freshly prepared and including homemade cake, what could be better?

    Good value for money, served me well for my one night stop along the way. The room is very nice and the host is very helpful and easy to comunicate with. The self service breakfast was made of packed items, there were plenty and a fair varierty, a fruit juice and the coffe machine available. I wasn't there to explore the surroundings so can't say much about the location but the area is very quiet, in the green, away from roads and not far from the village.

    Palatial room and bathroom. We had the deluxe double with lake view. Absolutely tranquil environment. Not a barking dog to be heard. Although we only stayed one night this would be an ideal location to stay longer to visit Mantua and surroundings by bike. The kitchen is fully stocked, large and squeaky clean . The staff was delightful and your money supports social services.
