Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

The friendliest staff/host I've ever had. Yes, the location is far from the village, and it's scary and dangerous to walk back to the guesthouse alone at night. But don't hesitate to ask the host for a ride, they are always willing to help! Very good place to just relax and chill out.

We had a great family stay. The personnel was very kind, the room was spacious and had a nice view. We did not eat at their place (went to other restaurants) but we did a jungle trek with them. We had an amazing guide who helped us carry in the jungle our 2-year old child. The 2-day trek was adapted to our family needs. We also used laundry and massage services recommended by the owner. All was perfect.

A halfhour motorbike ride and a walk along riverbed and you are reaching a villa situated right in the midst of the jungle. If you are a nature lover like we are, don’t think twice - just book the place and enjoy the vacations. On other day we were guided by Byke and Fahid into the depths of jungle looking for orangutans, which were kindly enough to greet us from the trees on a stretched hand distance. Everything. Everyone involved in the accommodation and its services were so friendly and helpful. They always had a smile on their faces and engaged in talk so you feel very comfortable being there. Recently they opened their restaurant which serves amazing food so I had no need to eat elsewhere, plus canter for certain dietary requirements. Plus a beautiful garden to enjoy and 3 lovely dogs too.

Lovely stay , comfortable and very clean.the view from the balcony was amazing and the staff also very friendly and helpful. We did a day trekking and tubing, I had lots of fun to see the orang utan up so close, can't get better than that.even though I felt over so many times to get to it 🙈 , it's so worth it.And also thumbs 👍 for our guide bang jerry and his partner (so sorry I can't remember his name ) they both are amazing, knowledgeable and friendly, also very patient with me as I am taking so many breaks during our trip to see the orang utan. I definitely recommend staying at the hotel orangutan and Hopefully I will be back to Indonesia again soon. Keep up the good work and thank you.
