it was a wonderful stay in a Scottish hotel. Beautiful hotel, very clean, delicious cuisine, delicious food. Evenings by the fireplace were like a fairy tale, the owner took personal care of each guest. I am impressed by this place and I will definitely go back. Beautiful views and great relaxation.

Fairdene Cottage was perfect. So adorable and comfortable. I was able to visit Balmoral and also the Ballater train station with a replica of Queen Victoria's train carriage. I loved everything about the cottage and its location.

The property, interiors, food everything was excellent! We strongly recommend also dinning in that place as the food was definitely a 5 stars! Try scotch egg and for main lamb! And do not forget malva cake! The stay was excellent though I would prefer the rooms a little bit bigger, thats the only thing I can comment. Enjoy!

Location was in the middle of village, Not a busy village so ample parking for car in the street. Room has recently been refurbished, in modern style all toned in nicely. Toilet plumbing and bathroom fittings recently renovated.
