Fantastic stay here for one night to celebrate a birthday. Food was amazing and service was great ( despite the pub being full with a village event). Very special place.

Definitely out of the way place. Very quite location. Excellent food. Could be described as "pub grub" but wider choice than the usual and very high quality. Live music was on during my stay but that stopped at around 10:00pm so not intrusive at all. Sparkling wit from the host!! Since I was leaving well before the 8:00 breakfast, a doggy bag was supplied the noight before with more in there than I acyually asked for. Too generous!

Was welcomed warmly for a one night stopover. Our room was above the pub but well insulated from traffic and restaurant noise. Very cosy. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was roomy and shower pressure great. Added bonus of checking in, then sitting in the beer garden watching the sunset and hot air balloon in the distance across the fields. Very serene setting. Tasty and lovingly cooked dinner and breakfast served in the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful location and the property was so so pretty. The property is a converted barn. We all absolutely loved the design. Everything flowed super well. We also saw a little rabbit outside exploring the area. I highly recommend a stay here.

Great location, plenty to do in the surrounding area. The Annexe was really cosy and comfortable, dog friendly, and we also had use of a beautiful outdoor area. The hosts were amazing, super accommodating, could'nt have asked for a nicer couple.

This was a great base for exploring the South Downs and the coast. It was super dog friendly and the space was homely and comfortable. We loved lazy mornings sleeping in with the stable door half open, listening to the birds and sheep. The secure outdoor spaces for the dog were a particular highlight. Sue was lovely and welcoming. The cookies were a lovely touch!

Bright and spacious and very comfortable. Actually, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in a long time. There was nothing not to like.... from the plate of cookies to the fans etc in the room. There was lots of hot water. The kitchen appliances were easy to operate with laminated instructions if needed. Sue and Tim were lovely and welcoming Would definitely be back.... one of the loveliest and most spacious accommodation I've ever stayed in. Dog friendly if you have dogs but no smell of dog if you don't.

We loved the comfy bed, and the convenient location between Arundel and Petworth, which were two places we visited. The wardrobe hanging space behind the bed was very useful too. When we worked out what it was, we used the Alexa to stream radio in the evenings.

The accommodation was well equipped and prepared for our arrival and felt like our own private space. Instructions were clearly communicated. The accommodation is located near by Arundel, South Downs National Park and coastal towns. Very dog-friendly providing for them as well as their humans. Beautiful shepherd hut!
