Newly painted and new carpets. Some bathrooms were new and others were quite dated but very clean. It was quite basic but what we were expecting/paid for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for Ayr Races and a great spot for dog walking. Amenities are more than you need with pubs, food and shops easily accessible.
