The room was cosy and comfortable. I have never seen such a varied Gluten Free menu, which takes the stress from having to look through Allergy Charts. Thank you SO much, it was a joy to stay and eat at the Red Lion and to be served by polite friendly staff.

The room was very comfortable and clean and supplied with all we needed. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Location was good for us as we were meeting relatives who live in Basingstoke. Added surprise was the access to Basing House/Barn and gardens. Free parking was very much appreciated.

Absolutely lovely stay. Loved the room, staff friendly and pub was great. Only shame was breakfast was a 8.30 start so I didn’t get to have it as I had to leave beforehand. Would be great to be able to have it a little earlier if possible.

    Stayed with partner and dog. Food was good. Staff were efficient and friendly. Was very dog friendly. Staff went out of their way to make my dog feel welcome. She loved all the attention and treats,and the bowls of water were a nice touch. Will stay again if we are in the area.
