So much care and attention has been put into this beautiful cottage making it a very comfortable stay. An ideal location with everything close by. Lucy and Andy were fabulous hosts and even provided a basket of goodies on arrival.

Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen fully equipped with everything we needed. The village is quiet and quaint but has a couple of good pubs and a great cafe that is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

We had a wonderful stay at Squirrel Barn in the Cotswolds! The location is excellent, nestled in a lovely little village with everything you could need: a pub, a shop & cafe, even a church and a school. It was the perfect base to explore the surrounding area. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and very cosy. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, we all slept really well. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful complimentary hamper including eggs, milk, chutney, oil, tea, coffee, sugar, and some logs for the wood burner, which was a lovely touch. Check-in and check-out were super smooth. There was plenty of on-street parking close to the cottage. The back garden was delightful and caught the morning sun (weather permitting, of course). The shower had good water pressure, toiletries were provided. The Wi-Fi was stable with fast internet, good enough for getting a bit of work done and running meetings. Overall, a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. I’d definitely recommend this cottage and would love to return in the future. P.S. We didn’t see any wood lice, in case that’s a concern. Everything was perfectly clean.

Lovely kitchen with Aga stove, great location for walking to local shops. The fireplaces were lovely and the charm of the house as a whole was grand. With the sudden snow fall everything became very picturesque. Lots of useful tips around the house from wireless to plumbing which were very useful.

    Outstanding staff: attentive, friendly and genuine. Very dog friendly hotel, all the staff love doggies. There was a dog bed and bowls in the room for Murphy and the chef cooked him a sausage for breakfast! A lovely touch. The hotel is beautiful as are the rooms. Stunning views on to the garden, unique decor, comfy bed and Molten Brown toiletries. Amazing chef, brilliant vegetarian options, very creative. Can't wait to stay here again!

    I like everything about my stay at Manor House Hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful decoration, architecture of the building, courtyard, trees, fire place. Dog friendly and my dog was treated like a princess :) it was conveniently located so we could catch a bus or walk to see other picturesque places!

    Room was excellent, comfortable bed, had private garden for our dog. Thought room might have had tiled floors because it was dog friendly but it was carpeted. Housekeepers put food mat down with 2 bowls and dog treats, even though we'd put our bowls in bathroom.
