Accommodation only an overnight stay for 2 nights during our trip to Kintyre, but the accommodation provided everything we needed for our trip. Hotel converted from a former cinema, clean rooms, comfortable beds, royal breakfast. Ele, the owner, is very pleasant, kind and very accommodating, she helped us with a trip to Kintyre, advised us a restaurant for lunch, where she also secretly booked us a table, and when we left, she personally said goodbye to each of us, what happens very exceptional. Ele, thank you very much.

Very nice cottage in a historical area (hill fort and stone circles). Close to Oban and the coast. There are amenities close by (10 minutes by car) and a pub 5 minutes walk from the cottage. Very good communication with the owner, recommended!

The location was wonderful, with incredible historic sites in walking distance of the cottage. The cottage was beautifully presented and lovely and clean. It was spacious and very comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit in the area.

Ahhh, everything was just perfect for our weekend away! Great location, free car park, helpful staff, delicious dinner, nice views from the hot tub (included in our room price) and the bedroom window,full Scottish breakfast,really made our stay perfect! When we just arrived we found it difficult to get to the shower as the corner with the shower door was very narrow. We asked staff at the reception for a wee help and the very nice girl changed rooms with no time. We received much bigger with a big bath in the bedroom room and were very pleased with the upgrade. 👍 Advice for your dinner,to choose the mussel dish with white wine sauce ,oh,that was incredible! ❤️ Never tasted better sauce in all my life!!! I will definitely come back here 😉

This accommodation provides very unique and unusual experience to all travellers. Hidden gem in vast emptiness of the west Scottish countryside. All staff was really nice and friendly people willing to help their guests. Ideal proximity to the ferry to Isle of Islay. Definitely recommend to stay there.

Everything had been considered for us. The bed was comfy, the linen was clean, the shower and bathroom were clean. We had tea and milk and wonderful shortbread provided. The room was warm and the breakfast was MADE TO ORDER which always surpass a larger hotels buffet. Dinner too was excellent and the general atmosphere here was one of family and homeyness.

Absolutely a gem of a place. Very well laid out, great welcome, and friendly staff. Delicious food, great bar and lovely views. Cannot fault it. Can't wait to return. Off the main Oban road but well worth the detour.

perfect location with the most amazing view of the sea, we loved looking out and watching the seals, dolphins and gannets. the pictures don’t do it justice it’s a lot nicer in person. there’s a premier just underneath the flat for convenience. I would stay here again

    The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring that region of Scotland. It has a small enclosed garden which is great if you have dogs and it is right next to the canal.

    Best location on the side of main road opposite petrol station with minimart. The owner very nice and give a warm welcome under rain condition. She introduce the facility around the house and suggest local spot to visit that was a idea for short stay like us. Definitely clean and cozy with good sleep all night. Amazing home cooked breakfast for guest super delicious.

    We stayed at the Empire Lodge for 1 night on our way to Oban. Family room was very comfortable and more than big enough for us with our 2 teenage sons and Spaniel(very dog friendly) The owners were very welcoming and provided us with a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Would definately stay here again if in the area.

    Brilliant wee bnb. Very welcoming and friendly hosts and very dog friendly (dog even got her own cut up square sausage for breakfast which she loved!) Comfortable clean accommodation. Great breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to book again when we're in the area.
