When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Shannon, who quickly let me know all I needed to know and left me to settle in, which was much appreciated after a long day of driving. Luxurious room, with bed facing huge rear windows looking out over the garden, yet still a very private room. Big comfy bed with plenty of pillows and a lovely couch in the room with extra blankets. Spotless modern ensuite bathroom. Access to a common area, which is a big lounge, setup as comfy as the loungeroom in your own house. Ample free parking on site, set well back and away from the road. Breakfast provided in the morning was a tasty combo of juices and pastries, yum! Left unobtrusively outside my bedroom door in the morning. Thanks! Chickens roam around the yard, it's a true country getaway experience. Highly recommend!

Sue received us kindly. The appartment is well-equipped and peaceful. The bedroom was quiet and cool, which is important for sleeping. The property has an excellent location near the centre of Rye. We could enjoy St Marys church and the Mermaid Inn but also a wonderful early morning walk across the dewy meadows to Winchelsea railway station. The path for that walk was very close to the property. We finished our visit with a brief visit to Camber Sands.

Great accommodation, clean and good equipped. Lots of green areas, good restaurant nearby and pool in the Main building. The hosts were always available for Info and questions. Definitely can recommend it. Plus: pet friendly.

Everything was more than perfect. Squeaky clean, comfy bed, modern bathroom, mini fridge, kettle, plenty of tea or herbal tea bags, coffee machine, Netflix, a small desk and a lovely genuine old school chair. Large private car-park. Very quiet, even when the pub is busy. Olivia and her husband are very friendly and anticipate our needs. Bottle of water and also milk in fridge. I didn’t have the opportunity to try the restaurant but the fresh line-caught sea bass on the menu was very tempting! Outstanding walks over the cliffs to Hastings. Attending the monthly book club on the Wednesday was the icing on the cake! Most highly recommended!

Steve was very clear in all communications. The house was easy to find and may be the cleanest private accommodation we have ever stayed in. The rooms were comfortable and the whole place was very welcoming. Lovely large bathroom with all sorts of soaps and lotions and excellent water pressure. Steve offered many recommendations for Hastings and the neighbouring towns. He also,whipped up a good breakfast for us. All in all, three very satisfied customers.

The lodge is beautiful, a family own multiple on the same park and they kindly showed us their others allowing us to change to a lake view lodge for a small cost. The owners were so kind and helpful, they constantly answered our messages and brought us anything we needed. They left treats for the kids and allowed us to check out later.

    A convenient location for us, a few miles from Hastings. Pleasant country house atmosphere. Helpful staff. The attic room we had was characterful and quirky. The afternoon tea experience is highly recommended. There's a walk around a pond and a large lawn for dogs; ours was made to feel very welcome. We'll stay again.

    Very welcoming and friendly. Karen and Ken were excellent hosts and very accommodating. They made me and my dog very much at home. The room was warm and clean with a very comfy bed. I liked the quirkiness of the decor and layout. There are plenty of areas to sit and relax. There are walks from the hotel and its dog friendly.

    Comfortable, quirky hotel. Craig and Caroline were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Being dog friendly was a huge plus and being able to borrow the hotel wellies invaluable in the wet weather!
