We thoroughly loved the beautiful landscapes and countryside that South West Scotland has to offer. This Caravan, sited at the Three Lochs Holiday Park in Balminnoch, and we couldn't have asked for a better pitch. The Caravan was absolutely gorgeous, a home from home. A real surprise was how beautiful and refreshing the tap water is in Scotland - delicious!! We would love to come back again next year as we haven't felt so grounded for a while, especially with such a picturesque landscape and surrounded by beautiful lochs, forests, and countryside. My wife is into bird watching, and she was in heaven, having spotted a range of birds of prey, including kites, kestrels, owls, and hearing an unbelievably loud screech of a red-wing!!!  There is an amazing abundance of birds who visit the park, including a red-robin who perched with us on the veranda in the mornings!!! Ian and Lisa were incredibly helpful, guiding us through our first 'out of season' holiday and sorting out a problem of my own making. Such a gem!

The location was stunning, the owners very friendly and helpful with local knowledge.The enclosed safe dog exercise area was brilliant, for the dogs and us humans 😁. The accommodation was comfortable & clean and had everything you wanted and the beds, duvets & shower were great. Good WiFi too. The sound of the sheep was lovely, who knew sheep coughed🐑 Very dog friendly and the eggs & jam from the honesty box were delicious.The half mile easy walk to the coast was a bonus, happy wet dogs had a ball🐕🐕We will most definitely return, but next time for longer 🐑

Fabulous property, right in the middle of Stranraer. All new, really good kitchen and reception area. The property has a wall onto a public carpark which makes parking very easy.
