    Our stay here was like a home away from home. The hospitality was outstanding, and the bedroom and public rooms were amazing. The location was lovely and dog-friendly, with great food and beautiful walks nearby. Our converted stable room was surprisingly spacious and clean, with a large shower room. The restaurant offered excellent menu choices and impeccable service. Overall, a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations.

    Warm and comfortable properly in an excellent central location with everything on the doorstep and dog walking along the 2 rivers. The enclosed courtyard was an unexpected bonus with the dog. We wanted a ‘city’ break and didn’t move the car for our full stay.

    Thank you to the super friendly staff, Kiera on reception was so welcoming and also another member of staff who served us afternoon tea, who’s name we didn’t catch but she was heading off skiing the next day :) lovely location, cosy and very dog friendly! Food was great and lovely walks nearby, will definitely be back.

    Very nice hotel and quaint features, close to the town, room was lovely and the bed comfortable with a huge roll top bath too, unfortunately the gardens weren’t open so we couldn’t visit that part, staff very friendly and the breakfast very nice, also a dog friendly hotel which was perfect for us and our furry little boy

    Amazing location, and so nice to see the many pets and livestock from dogs and cats to chickens, pigs and cows. The pool was at a perfect temperature, could have stayed in there all day! Also a beautiful starry night sky, really enjoyed stargazing.
