Allthough it was a wonderful historical building with great connections to sailing the hotel has great modern facilities. Clean, great shower and friendly professional staff. I will certainly stay again next time in this part of Germany

    Staff was very helpful, we were travelling with a dog and had some lovely bowls in there for her and some popcorn for dogs. We were arriving late and the staff was very communicative when we ended up arriving later than our stated check in time.

    The hotel was excellent, the location is right in the heart of the centre, close to the Stena lines. Parking is 250 m away, easy to find. Breakfast was good, we didn't eat in the restaurant but it sounded fine. The check-in with the dog was easy and they provided a welcome treat and a dog sign. Very dog friendly!
