Perfect base for exploring the Schwarzwald and surrounding area, Baden Baden et al. The hosts were outstanding and approachable, the apartment was very clean and spacious. I could not recommend it more! Also for a family like us, all equipment for cooking was provided and the apartment was well positioned in walking distance to playgrounds and town center with all amenities.

We stayed there one night with our dog. Very helpfull and nice staff. We called them when we could see that we would arrive 30 min past check in, they said it was no problem and kept it open. Very nice room. Very lovely and cute little city! Nice little detour, not too long, from the highway on our way from Denmark to Switzerland. Nice little breakfast. Will definitely recommend.

Set in a quiet and peaceful village, with amazing views. Also great place to stay for a motorcyclist, lots of great riding roads close by. Its not on the main road and it has its own parking, it felt quiet safe parking the bike there.

The whole experience of this hotel is very special. The arrival was a little difficult intially, as the location is a public site, with a market, bakery and restaurant, but it is all part of the charm and experience. Upon checking in, we were given a tour of the rooms (we had the suites booked), which was very helpful to show us all the features, especially the sauna in the main bathroom. The rooms being located in the main building makes access to all the amenities very easy, and the market store having everything from local produce and meat to locally produced goods, gives non-locals an opportunity to purchase local goods, while the restaurant offers a large locally sourced menu. The rooms were very well appointed, plenty of space and exceptionally clean. The sauna in the suite bathroom was a fantastic touch, that was used in the evening and in the morning. The beds were comfortable and the separate shower and bath provided a nice luxury touch. The following morning breakfast was varied and delicious, despite there being no warm options. The fresh products from the in-house bakery were delicious and really added to the feeling of the locally source products.
