The family that own and run this property are wonderful and so friendly. A local Tico tribe of amazing people! The grounds are beautiful and Toucans and Bats frequent daily! The beach directly below the property is wild and beautiful and we were always the only ones there with fine dark brown sand and patches of shells and small rocks for treasure hunting for the day! I felt more relaxed and inspired after our 5 days and the simplicity of life at this place is the real plus! If you want the Hilton Hotel then this isn’t for you but if you want to decompress, enjoy nature and the people you love then this is the place for you!

Great house, beautiful inside decoration, amzing view of the oceon from balcony and bed. Right by the pier and easy accessible. Not to forget the amazing chef, Claudio made fantastic italian food, could not have been better Germany. The whole team is amazing.

The family working there is so wonderful. only stayed four nights but we really felt at home. the view is very nice. you can hike from there to the scretch of the national park by yourself. the beach has an awesome rural charme, we loved it, rough for swimming but if you take care it is fine, you will have the beach sometimes for yourself. The hotel is super clean

It is like living in the middle of the Jungle - there are more wild animals than in a national park! The beach is 30 minute walk away and very beautiful also. Our bungalow was super clean and the balcony had a nice view to the garden. Juan and Maria are very welcoming and super friendly and more than happy to organize taxis and trips. Plus Juan is a professional cook and the food was fantastic! A really great place to stay!

We stayed in Room 5 which has the private pool. It was easily one of my favorite hotel stays ever. Spectacular views of the bay. Floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the view from inside the room. The pool has a shade cover and lounge chairs so you can truly have a private oasis. We saw toucans and macaws. I also thought I saw a capybara my first day. The king bed, linens, towels, and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast gallo pinto was the best we had. We had a massage in the room that was very good and well priced.

    A well equipped and comfortable holiday apartment just outside of Drake Bay. It was great to be able to cook again. The location is peaceful and relaxing with plenty of wildlife to see, along with some friendly dogs and chickens. Vincent and Gaby are wonderful hosts.
