Before arrival I'd had much communication with Ewa as we gained an additional friend on our journey. She was great - so weloming - she left the door unlocked so we were able to get in as soon as we arrived. She came to welcome us and showed us around, advised about parking etc The place was lovely - very comfy rooms and a well stocked kitchen. The coffee machine was ready for use. Excellent value for money.

First, I don’t usually give tens, but Hotel Gerig and their staff more than deserve it. They made our one-night stay exceptionally pleasant. Already at reception we immediately felt at home. When asked about a possible walk to take he went outside with us to show the way. Two other staff members were extremely nice to my 6-year old. The hotel is very nicely decorated with art and pictures all over. The restaurant has excellent evening food and breakfast and looks as welcoming as the rest. On top of that the bedroom was great! Easy to reach from Göschenen by bus (stop Wassen Dorf)

    The chalet was spotless and in the perfect location for us as visiting family in Wassen. If you want to cook there is everything you need plus an excellent coffee machine. Plenty of room for a big family and smart tv if needed. Showers were excellent with lots of hot water and powerful. Terrace get the early morning sunshine and perfect if you enjoy watching the trains go past.

    Superb location close to Susten pass. Chose specifically for that reason as 4 of us on motorbike tour. Met owner who super friendly and seemed an interesting character. Secure garage for motorbikes.

    location was brilliant. and the staff were cool really likes the owner he is very pleasant. plus he has a lovely dog. I was late for dinner service and the lady still made me a sandwich so I don’t go hungry. breakfast was good too bikers: there is a safe place to park your bike at the property even though it’s shared bathroom and shower I found it was kept clean so didn’t feel like it was used by many people.
