Family is nice and inviting. Communicating was a bit hard, I mostly spoke to Han, and he always made sure I was okay. Homestay was a bit a far away from markets or anything else, but you should know that it’s mostly countryside. The good thing is they offer to use the bicycles for free or you can rent the scooters for a fee as taxis or grab are pretty hard to catch one.

The homestay itself was so calming, with alot of nature and fresh air. They definitely created a family atmosphere. cooking dinner together and through that leaning about vietnamese cooking. Dogs , cats and kids running around so you feel comfortable and can always lean down to pet a dog or play with one of the owners kids that are very friendly. The owners themselves have great English and are very welcoming and accomodating. We borrowed motorbikes and had an accident and the owner came to us right away and made sure we were ok. The peak of the experience is definitely the boat trip with Amie, a full day traveling the river learning about the local culture and food, gathering plants, climbing coconut tree's, fishing and at the end making lunch in nature from everything we gathered. In short it was amazing and definitely an experience worth doing if you are in Vietnam.

The hosts are amazing, super friendly - it is more like a boutique B&B! There are tours available and they took us to the morning market and gave us a cooking lesson of a local speciality. You have to book early as there are only 4-5 rooms- this is absolutely the best accommodation around here! Thank you Quan and Hanh who are both so kind, and Tuyen (handsome and funny)! It is rural, so you are surrounded by coconut palms and roosters, lovely to bike around the area.

She was my guide for the whole time and she took me to all the nicest and most beautiful places around Bến Tre told me about the culture ans how local people live. I had the best experience in Vietnam and I wish I stayed longer! My room was just in front of the river, the whole place is perfect to chill out, there’s a few hammocks and it’s pretty quiet. Duyen can lend you a bike or scooter to get around and I really recommend doing it as well as one of the tours that she run. It was the most relaxing experience I’ve had here, so nice!

The Mattress is on the hard side but its finally not a halfpipe. The Food was delicious.

The setting, structures and landscaping just lovely with great attention to detail and lots of quaint little spots to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The meals were delicious, generous and great value. Everything was clean and well cared for. Plenty of hot water, drinking water and even a fridge of cold beverages that you could help yourself to and just add to your tab. But the absolute best part was the owner Minh and his wife , brother and staff. They were MORE than helpful. They provided great instructions on how to get there and had us picked up promptly. It was very hot the day we arrived and they took pity on us melting Canadians and upgraded us to a room with air conditioning at no extra cost! They booked our tour, all the different transport to our next destination and even provided photos of what to look for .And when our phone charger died they sent brother to town to purchased what we needed so we didn’t have to spend half our day trying to find a phone store, deal with the language barrier and probably have a very difficult day. This Homestay goes above and beyond to make there guests stay memorable and stress free. The whole staff came to wish us well on our journey and say goodbye. We felt like we were leaving family.

The bungalows are simple and cleaned and provide everything you need. They serve fresh made free breakfast and there is a restaurant service for the evening. We dined here every evening during our 3 nights stay and the food was always delicious. The ladys working there are really nice and work really hard, you can see that they like what they do. The owner is friendly and ready to help and can speak a really good english. Thank you for the amazing stay!
