( 3 cans of fruit juices, 2 cans of beer, 2 peanut kisses). Water is free althroughout. Very calm and relaxing place. Perfect for those who wanted to unwind and wanted a quiet place to stay. Food was ok. Amenties were good. There are activities that will make your stay enjoyable. NVR transfers and tour partner is great. They were welcoming and very polite during our tour. Our room has a great view of the ocean. Pool was clean. Overall its the best hotel we have stayed in even compared to other 5 star hotels in Manila and resort Cebu hotels we have tried.

Also experienced diving for the first time. Our dive instructor Jim and other crew with Haka dive company were so patient and accommodating!!!

The room was very spacious, with a beautiful pool view, and the bathroom was equally roomy and well-designed. Breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from. The location is fantastic—close to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops, with tuk-tuks readily available. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Tip: go for a high-floor room on the left side—this gives you the best of both worlds: sunrise views from your doorway and a stunning sunset sky from your balcony.

Chris and Chatty prepared a primer (suggested activities, food, rentals, etc.), which really helped in our trip. Stiffany, the caretaker, was quick to respond and was in the area most of the time. Even the hosts themselves were quick to respond through the app. The property itself is a trike ride away from most activities in Panglao and is around 3-5 mins away from the airport. Toiletries, towels, and other essentials were provided.

Luxurious might be a big word, but this place felt luxurious compared to other accommodations in the Philippines. The landscaped courtyard is really big, with a lovely pool and a beautifully designed eating area around it. The room was really spacious, with big beds, fridge, quiet AC and a drying rack on the porch outside the door. The staff was kind and they helped us with the laundry and to book a car. The whole place is secluded and, therefore, it is blissfully quiet.

Situated in Panglao, within 700 metres of Dumaluan Beach and 11 km of Hinagdanan Cave, Izla Soanna features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Located around 49 km from Tarsier Conservation Area, the hostel is also 18 km away from Baclayon Church. My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!

The decor was really warm and like a home-from-home, and the facilities also complemented this- (the gas hob, oven, fridge freezer and microwave) The air-conditioning was SUPERB! Very much needed in the heat of Bohol. Plenty of seating so that family who were staying in an adjacent apartment could sit and have dinner inside or outside with us. The sofa and chair were particularly comfortable especially for watching Netflix on the TV. The pool was so refreshing- the cave area was a really good way of cooling off in the shade while still being able to make use of the pool, with the addition of a nice cold shower to use prior/post swim. The bathroom facilities were also really good- a nice spacious powerful hot shower was so comforting after exploring the local area. The hotel is super close to the wonderful Alona Beach and is also very close to Tagbilaran Airport, alongside the main roads meaning that its super convenient if you want to explore more of Bohol or Pangalao- we hired a motorcycle further up the street from the hotel (separate business) and this was a great way to explore in style. Danny was super friendly, welcoming, and receptive- making sure to chat to us whenever he encountered us, which encompassed the family friendliness of the resort. Two thumbs up!
