Sea Sand Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kalpitiya. The property is around 200 metres from Kandakuliya Beach, 600 metres from Kudawa Beach and 2.1 km from Kalpitiya Beach. The accommodation provides a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. If you never been to Kalpitiya, it has a sense of being on the outskirts of civilization. Here you stay nestled among the houses of the locals and share the beach with its fishermen. Beside great kite- and windsurfing (and endless beaches of course), there is not a ton of things to do in Kalpitiya. Scuba diving is good, when there is visibility. Dolphin watching is also a possible activity, but quite an expensive one that last a couple of hours. You won’t find any city center with shops, bars and restaurants near, but you can of course visit other resorts and use their facilities. However you should know that you have a very good restaurant on site if you stay at the Sea Sand Resort! This establishment is made up of about 10 small bungalows with a restaurant. The bungalows are quite basic, but very clean and comfortable and represents good value for money. Within about 10 minutes or more on foot, you can reach surf schools and beaches. From my own experience I can promise that you will be very well taken care off if you chose to stay at Sea Sand Resort.

The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

Perfectly situated close to Wilpattu national park. Roshan is a great host and property is so comfortable with all facilities. Very clean and Roshan helped us arrange safari as well to the national park. Food was great and overall really good !

The property provides lagoon views. We had a great stay in this beautiful resort. It started with a warm welcome and a lovely fruit juice. The rooms were very spaceious and so clean. We loved the outdoor shower. The swimmingpool is great and also is the common area. They serve a great breakfast and cook great meals. Everyone is so friendly. We booked a lagoon tour which was great. They realy took their time and even took as swimming. I would highly recommend this place to stay. Thank you to all the great staff for giving us an incredible time.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Great location close to beach. This area SL low key not all built up, quieter! The great breezes make it kite surfers paradise, and the breezes make the huge covered porch a nice place to hang out.. The family that manages very helpful, content & beautiful. They make good food, and help arrange local needs. The first night I stayed in budget room, but then upgraded for 2 nights to the larger cabana because it has better cross ventilation & surfaces to put things on. Both size rooms have your own porch with cushioned seating. Neither rooms have a/c but you don't need it with the good breezes & room fans.

It is located at a-minute walk away from the Rascals kite surfing school where you can rent equipment, learn how to kite surf and free boat transfer to main kite surfing beach. Yoga classes are available at an extra cost. Absolutely calm, relaxed and friendly space. Run by very kind family who makes your stay problem free. A boat to a nice kite spot goes a few times per day.
